Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Melia Madrid was a delightful blend of luxury and value. The hotel's prime location near Gran Via offered convenience without the hustle and bustle, surrounded by charming eateries and bars within walking distance. As a Spanish chef, I appreciate good food, and the on-site dining options did not disappoint. The Level experience elevated my stay, with impeccable service and a generous breakfast spread. The Level Suite was spacious, accommodating my family comfortably. The bathroom was a highlight, boasting a luxurious two-headed shower and a relaxing jetted tub with picturesque city views. The attention to detail was evident, with extra amenities provided for my son and top-notch housekeeping keeping everything spotless. While the hotel offered an array of amenities such as an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, and facial services, the slight lack of variety in warm breakfast options was noted. However, the overall experience was exceptional, with efficient check-in and check-out processes adding to the seamless stay.In conclusion, Melia Madrid strikes a balance between luxury and affordability, making it a solid choice for discerning travelers seeking a high-quality experience without breaking the bank.
